Where can I find out what year my apartment building was built?

I went to the office and all they could tell me was "before 1978," but my renters insurance requires a specific year. I'm afraid if something happens, and they find out I don't have the right year, I won't be covered. Help!

Go to the Register of Deeds in your County, give them the address and they can readily tell you.
