If I live at home with my parents with my child can I file head of household on my taxes?

I live at home with my child and was wanting to know if I can file head of household? I do not pay rent , or for groceries, or utitlies. I do pay for everything other then that for my child on my own. My parents file together & I file seperate. Can I still file head of household though?

No, for head of household you must have a qualifying child as dependent and must pay more than half of the expenses for your home.

NOPE, you are NOT providing MORE than half the cost of providing a home for yourself and child!
You should let your parents take your child. If you earn less than $3600, your parents can take you as a dependent also. You are NOT supporting yourself or your child from your posting-- they are--and they deserve the tax advantages for their support.

Absolutely not.
You have to be single and the sole provider for your child, including a place to live.
There can not be any other adults in the household.

Sure doesn't sound like you can file as head of household - you aren't paying half of the cost of maintaining the home for your child, your parents are.

To be head of household you must pay for more than 50% of the household support and you do not. Not even 50% of your own support.
