174.oo and getting taxed well your main job (which you want to be the one that earns most )you should be on 647L the second job will be on BR doesnt matter at this point how much you earn all second jobs get BR but should pay a minute amount of NI. you cant get half yearly but wait until the end of the tax year i think before tax you earn £2088. all people have a tax free allowance of £6475.00, you will recieve a P60 on this will have all amounts paid and deducted for the year you need to fill in the back of it i think and send off to the inland revenue. they will then send you forms to claim it back.
tax is stupid and doesnt make sence, to be honest your probly better off just keeping one job and getting rid of the other. if you work less than 16 you get all your benifits still and no tax, it would work out in you favour. BUt yea if you have 2 jobs you will get taxed and you cant get it back sorry :( (unless you have earnt less than £3000 or your under 16)
hope you sort your problem out.....good luck and best wishes
2nd jobs are ridiculously highly taxed, I doubt you will be due a rebate as they don't add them both together; your 1st job gets taxed as norm and the second job gets a much higher tax band.
