If an American corporation is offshoring American jobs to other countries....?

Is this a corporation that we want doing business in our country? A hundred and fifty years ago wouldn't their corporate charter just get revoked, and a new more responsible corporation be allowed to fill their place?

Why are we now letting these big corporations dictate to us, what they can and can't do?

well for one, 150 years ago we as a country could easily sustain ourselves without trading with other countries. the economy is now more of a global economy with companies not only doing business in the US but in other areas of the world as well. to help increase profits companies look for ways to save money. if a US worker requires $30 an hour to do something and someone else only asks for $10 an hour and shipping costs an additional $10 an hour it is smart business for the company to go with the cheaper labor.
