accidently clicked on the wrong amount to pay on my credit card. Instead of paying the payment due I accidently clicked n pay full balance. they were right by each other. I can't cancel the payment, already went through same day, so what will happen to my bank account? It was a payment for 5000.00?
I don't have that kind of money in there either. Des anyone know what will happen, will my bank just let me pay that back in payments or what?

Charlie is right. It won't take out that much of your account if the money isn't in there. I would call the credit card company (the phone number on the back) and have them reverse it and while on the phone with them make the payment originally desired. You might see a fee on your account go through for a "return fee" since the funds of $5000 wasn't available, in that case I would call the bank to reverse it and explain the situation. No matter what they say, they can reverse the fee. Banks always tell you they can't but I've worked at three different banks and they all can. You just have to talk to the right person. Good luck

Call your credit card company right away and let them know what happened! also call your bank and let them know so they can help you fix this!
I read about something similar happening to a guy who accidently added an extra zero in his payment (making it 3000, instead of 300 I think) and he was able to get the money back by talking to the credit card company about the mistake.
Hope this helps

Your bank will return the payment and charge you an NSF fee for not having sufficient funds for the payment. The credit card company will also probably charge you a returned payment fee and a late fee if the correct payment isn't received by the due date.

Nothing is going to happen to your account because your bank isn't going to honor the payment to the credit card company and YOU can ALWAYS stop the payment by calling customer service
